A Night Before Christmas

'Twas a night before Christmas
And all through the world
There was waring and hatred
And shouts being hurled

Then up through the clouds
An incredible sight
A tower of love
An incredible light

There was music of love
And hope and of peace
And they all stared in silence
Even in Greece

Then Yoko spoke out
Of her late husband's vision
Of a world filled with love
Instead of derision

She spoke of love
Instead of religion
That caused in this world
So much division

She spoke of a world
Who sees all as one
No borders or boundaries
True friendship begun

She spoke of possessions
Being meaningless
All sharing and caring
And feeding the rest

All brothers and sisters
Sharing their hearts
Forgiving, forgetting
False flags and false starts

They called it a dream
Very unrealistic
My now it's arrived
As if out of the mystic

They crowd joined together
In glorious song
And invited all
To sing along

From this spark a fire
That spread all the love
Throughout the world
From heaven above

And if there should be
A calamity
They'll all join together
To help, you will see

No nations, no flags
No races to shun
But one is for all
And all is for one

And as they went off
Came a shout from the light
Happy Christmas to all
And to all a good night
