ex left us for a sex offender

I,m a single Dad. I have been for some years.
My ex wife left the children and myself, the day after our youngest daughters Birthday.
For the short time that theys still saw her, the children were put on the AT Risk register, because george moore, the creature she left us for is,So Social Services and Police say. A Scedule ! Sex Offender, thats a paedophile of the worst kind. It has 50 convictions.
It has friends, like it , no doubt,and it has my ex. "Friends" deserted us,they said that they could,nt bare to hear what my ex had done. So I and the children have been completely alone, i now have no family.
I find it confusing and upsetting that while women like thiskind of creature (google ted bundy) I am unwanted. Why is that?

But to be deserted by your friends as well seems a step too far. Best to cut all ties if that is her choice of companion and forge new friends based on the values you wish to bring your children up to respect and love. It may feel lonely at present. But the friends you make will stand by you and the kids...as to Social Services well where do you start...most of them can't tie a shoelace let alone advice on complex childcare issues...Baby P in the UK...I rest my case.

You have started very positively on here with folk that share one of your key values...namely peace. Kids have this ability to bring together people whether by the school gate of through their organisations you get to meet folk out there...and you know the Schedule Sex Offenders are a tiny minority of folk out there...most are sane and upright...go get em tiger, as a friend used to say to me when i started out as a single dad twenty years ago.
