replica breitling Bentley GT continues to do just about everything right, and a it's just a matter of time before the greater watch buying masses begin to understand how great of a brand this is. We showed you a nice looking mono-pusher from BaselWorld 2012 a few months back, and now we've got our hands on the the great replica breitling Chronomat 41.
Actually, we got our hands on two of them. The watch above and at right below is the special edition Breitling Trophy Steel watch, which is differs from the standard Chronomat B01 heritage with bright piping on the dial and strap, as well as a hobnail bezel. It is a limited edition of 100 pieces.
While the Breitling Trophy edition is the rarer of the two birds seen above, it is the http://www.speedroc.com/replica-breitling-bentley-barnato.html that stuck out to us as the winner of the group when we viewed them at Basel. You see, this watch is really a modern adaptation of the original Breitling Chronomat B01 Cricket from the early 1960s, which was a direct competitor to JLC's 1959 Deep Sea Alarm, 1965 Polaris, and 1968 Polaris. In fact, the Chronomat B01 Cricket shared the same supercompressor case with 16-hole caseback with the JLC divers, just as it does today.

It even comes on a modern, real tropic strap, which is a great detail - a detail that JLC chose to "luxury-ize" (not a word, but you know what we mean) by offering their new Deep Sea Alarm and Polaris Tribute on leather straps that resemble tropic straps, which of course means taking the JLC divers into water is a risk (hmm...).
The Breitling Chronomat B01 Crickets are fantastic watches - complete with historic provenance, modern proportions, an in-house movement with a cool complication and great looks, and limited production. Oh, and the price is more than fair, with a MSRP of $5975. This is a great dive watch people. Click here for more details.
