Many think of innocence as quality of ignorant naiveté, but in truth, innocence can be the byproduct of wisdom. It is only possible to have an internally innocent attitude when we have a release of guilt brought about by forgiving oneself. When we approach a situation without hidden agendas or ulterior motives, we live in the spontaneous simplicity of the present moment. This allows us to be more open to the wonder of life.
