HTC comes up with new surprise for all the selfie lovers with its new HTC Desire Eye where front and back cameras pack equally impressive 13MP sensors having dual-LED flash for each.

The Desire Eye keeps the Boom Sound stereo speakers, the LTE connectivity, the microSD card slot, the Sense-enhanced KitKat, basically all the best features of the latest One flagship is included to this.

The 5.2-inch screen has full-HD resolution that feels awesome while using. With such high resolution HTC has done great packing of a Snapdragon 801 quad-core 2.3GHz and 2GB RAM in the Desire EYE. It means that the phone has been powerful enough to run smoothly and play the most demanding of 3D games.

It has soft-touch plastic finish body but it still feel great and are actually easier to grip on to than the more slippery metal phones. It can be immersed under a meter of water for up to 30 minutes with no issue, as it is included with water resistance feature.

In the connectivity section HTC Desire EYE comes laden with 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, DNLA and HTC Connect. It has equipped with 16GB storage with the option to expand that by a further 128GB using a microSD card. The 2,400mAh battery is less the M8, which is one of the better phones for stamina.
Its both front and back 13 megapixel cameras have dual-LED flashes and with both you can shoot full-HD video. But both are not identical in any respect. The rear camera has an f/2.0 28mm lens while the front uses an f/2.2 22mm lens.

With its awesome front and rear cameras you can take image-in-image shots and videos before, but you get a small thumbnail of the front camera imposed on the larger back image. HTC has given equal footing to the cameras on the Desire EYE that allow you to shoot in 50/50 split screen mode.

The Phone runs on the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat software. That facilates you with the video calling feature. The software supports top video-calling apps that work well with Google Hangouts and Skype and will provide digital image stabilization.

Normally most of the phone uses hands movement for activation of the selfie camera, but the HTC Desire EYE lets you activate video, using your voice, by shouting out “action” or “rolling”.
