I wonder.

You know all those unconscious human beings who injure, torture, kill or otherwise make miserable the existence of other living beings that they share this planet with? You know, the ones that mindlessly and heartlessly torture and slaughter animals and even members of their own species and race? If they suddenly by some miracle became conscious and realized that every act of cruelty, each act of wanton pain and misery that they inflict on other living beings, brings them a step closer to experiencing that same hell, at some time and at some point in their lives.
Guaranteed.
I wonder what they would do?
How do you think they would act then?

That is the most powerful thing we can do to demonstrate the beauty and value of being human. Having established this as the foundation of our being, there is nothing left for us to do or be responsible for. We can only strive for: acceptance of the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference.
