To make a big effort is a fighting situation.

As soon as you set up fighting, you set up resistance. As soon as you make an effort, you set up defense. Defense blocks.

To just naturally reach and take the next thing and pull it to you and move with it in a very even-flowing way is an accepting situation.

People have often asked me how I can know what is going on in a certain place. This is how: I step into the Soul, and in the Soul consciousness, my Soul can communicate with any other Soul. It is instantaneous knowledge, faster than the speed of light. In the spiritual Light, everything is instantaneous and exists now.

This is what people refer to as "the eternal now." It is when we come into the physical body that we come into space, time, differentiated energy, and various dimensions. Many people say, "I'm going to live for all eternity," and I say, "Yes, you are doing it right now. This is eternity."

Keep in mind that perfection is not achieved on the physical level.

In the Soul, you are already perfect; everyone is. In the body, emotions, and mind, you are working to bring yourself into balance so that you can more readily see the Soul's perfection.

In the outer world, you can identify things rather objectively, and you can get a lot of people to go along with your identification. You can possess a definite object and place your joys and hopes on it. At some point, however, you may realize that fulfillment is not "out there." Fulfillment is within. Your happiness, your well-being, your love, and your success are all within you.

The heavenly things, the invisible things, are the spiritual things that are going to endure forever. Establish yourself in that area. It is within you.

Loving is the most natural way to heal yourself. That means no unreasonable demands or expectations on yourself, and putting your health and well-being into the Light for the highest good.

If you get just this, you are on the way to healing and balancing yourself.

When you place a goal out there in the world, you must perform according to the legend of success. And who is going to determine that for you? Everybody out there in the world will determine it.

Yet your very success may be that you give up the goal and don't do it.

Some people will "hit you in the head" for that thought. But, often, my best successes have been when I said, "I can't handle that," and I let it go.

Then I was brought immediately to the very thing that I was to do, and it was better than I ever could have wished for.

We've all been through many existences, mostly in a dreamlike state unaware of that slumber until we are awakened by the spiritual kiss of the Beloved that awakens us to who we really are. And then we ride off, we might say, with the hero, the Prince Charming, the Spiritual One into the great castle of the Soul. And we reside there forever.

It's not just a fairy tale; it is a great truth and reality. We are awakened to forever walk arm and arm with the Beloved.

A great part of our success has to do with clarifying what we want and what we're ready to do to get it. Some people think that their purpose on this planet is to make money; others, to "live happily ever after"; and still others, to be of service to their fellow man and woman.

My theory is that we -- all of us -- are here to fulfill our individual plan of unfoldment. What is there, once we have unfolded? Our true wealth, which is beyond what you might think of as success. And each of us will find the wealth awaiting us according to our own rate of progress, as we seek our particular way. Or, as the song goes, "I'll do it my way." Of course, sometimes "my way" is not the only way; in fact, it may not always be the most effective or easiest way.

Nevertheless, each of us has the inherent right to do it "my way," regardless of considerations.

You may be blind to your own gifts, but within yourself you can become acquainted and familiar with your true nature and gain the skills and confidence to use your inherent gifts.
