Peace In The World

For everlasting Peace to occur we must begin with ourselves and then as a common people on earth. We must truly love thy neighbor whether next door or across the planet. We must seek to understand others who may have a different culture or beliefs. We must totally let go of prejudice beliefs and work for the common good for all. I believe if we have a closer connection or relationship to all living things, this too can help bring us together. We all have to take the responsibility for our actions and our governments actions. If we rely on our governments to create Peace, it will never happen without full involvement with it's People. Many governments will always find a reason for war and they will try and convince us that it is a necessity for whatever reason - usually for power, control or greed.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "non-cooperation with evil is as much a duty as cooperation with good."

Wouldn't our planet be a wonderful place if we had no wars and everyone got along with each other? Most will say yes, so why not begin the process. It is time to tell our governments to stop the fighting, stop the killing, and stop the wars. We have the power to make change.
