And when Manning's name appeared on the Broncos' injury report following a Monday night practice, it became noteworthy. Manning, who has long said he is not a fan of the weekly disclosure of injuries, was listed with some back soreness.
"You know my thoughts on the injury report," Manning said in the locker room Tuesday afternoon. "I think the media should have to do an injury report as well. I think all you guys -- I'd like to create it myself, I'm going to put down what I think all of y'all's injuries are.

Manning was sacked four times in Sunday's 19-13 victory over the Baltimore Ravens and finished 24-of-40 for 175 yards passing and an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Manning took part fully in Monday night's practice, which was held in the team's indoor facility.
Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Manning would practice Tuesday night; the Broncos have scheduled their two main practices to match their 6:25 p.m. MT kickoff time.
"He's OK," Kubiak said. "He's just sore coming out of the game, he took some [hits]."
As for the Broncos' offense, which struggled in Week 1, Manning said Thursday's game against the Chiefs can't come quick enough.
