I have been thinking about we where are and the things that you said,,,, and want to share with you my thoughts,,, right or wrong,, they are what they are,,, just read them and use whatever you can,,,,,
We are both in our 50's, you 55...... you have been working now for close to 40 years,,, Jerry,, that's 40 years,,, a lifetime,,,,, its time for us to stop bullshitting ourselves in thinking that we have another 10 to 15 years of work to get into a position to retire and enjoy life,,, to keep working towards that goal,,,its nonsense
You have been blessed with an opportunity that very few will ever have,,, Either by design or chance,, you are in a place where you have control,,,, You have picked a simple life, that requires little money, you have had the stress of making the big money to support a lifestyle that one really doesn't need....and see no need to go back to,,, You can live a life of your dreams without the worry of this and that,,,,
Yes, we need to make enough to live on and have a little to put back,, that is common sense,,, but where is the need to run a race to a finish line 10 to 15 years out? Once the mind is freed from the rat race of life and realize that we are in control of our world, that we need not follow their rules,, doors open,,
Its time to follow your heart and intuitive thoughts that are there in the silence of the mind,,, no more should one be concern about tomorrow,, like Gandhi said,," today is yesterdays' tomorrow,, was it worth the worry? " Live in the NOW,, after all,, isn't that all we really have?
The point??? Don't wait to get to a point down the road to start enjoying life,, start now,, and what is enjoying life?? seeking fulfillment,,, not excitement,,, while fulfillment is subtle at the time,, it is everlasting,, To live in the moment,,, while we must deal with the needs of living,,, that does not stop us from living a fulfilled life,,,, I firmly believe that if one is in balance and follow their intuitive heart,, the money will follow,,, the money will always follow,,,,""" according to Jesus,,, when one is in spirit,[ or true to their heart ], all needs will be met """
Now, here is the funny part, the paradoxical part,,, I also firmly believe that when one can separate from the " ego " of ourselves and follow a path of a higher being, one of true fulfillment,,, and having grasped the real picture,,, with that silent knowing,,, all these material things will come,,, without the stress and worry of the how and when,,
In other words,, whatever may come, good or bad,, take it, experience it, feel it, learn from it and let it go. Knowing that it is nothing more than that,, in the surrender of letting go, is what brings it back. its in the detachment of the outcome that brings the desired outcome,,,,
" I am success, I am prosperity, I am abundance " this is nothing more than a mantra, a mindset,,,, but one that becomes very real when in true belief,,, there is no good or bad,, We are the ones that decide what is good or bad,,, I can't keep from thinking about the quote from David Icke,, " sometimes life's greatest gifts come in the form of our worst nightmares " a nightmare is nothing more than a butterfly hidden in a caterpillar.
As for me,,, watching the grass grow and feeding the caterpillars. my endgame?, to stand in front of Jesus with pride of knowing that I lived and loved a life that mattered
"" feeling the tugging on a string on the traveling vein in my soul, I've got a half a mind to close my eyes and let go,, sailing the wind "" follow your heart and soul,, they will never steer you wrong,,
You my friend have been given a rare gift,,, a rail-pass to where ever you want to go,,,, choose well and enjoy the ride,,,
