Kids for Peace is Partnering with La Jolla Friends of the Seals and Sierra Club to

Save the Harbor Seals in La Jolla

Please join us for a kid-friendly rally.



Children’s Pool in La Jolla is in danger of being dredged. This would mean the seals would not have a place to birth their pups, nurse their pups and simply rest in the sunshine. There is an urgent need to protect the Harbor Seals NOW! The case is in the courts and will be discussed again with the San Diego City Council on 11-25-08.

Our children CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!

~Meet at the Kiosk~





We will:

· Learn about the danger our seals are in from a “Friends of the Seals” Docent

· Create a petition to be presented at the next San Diego City Council Meeting

· Write Postcards to our elected officials

· Sing Songs for the Seals

· Invite the media



Please wear your Kids for Peace t-shirt and bring a sign to hold during the rally.
