Slow Hand

I want to live with an open hand

to touch and caress and cradle and hold

everything I come in contact with



I want to drop my clenched fists

to never hit or hurt or punch or pummel

anything that enters my airspace



soft hands are always better

nothing breaks and everything feels so

smooth and silkey and super duper sensuous



fists are only good for fithing and

it's really hard to hold or help or hug

anybody, anything, anytime you ball them up



so yeah, I want to soften up

drop my guard and hang up my gloves and

trade machismo for a manicure
