Some Words to EA for FIFA 16

Dear EA Sports

I'm a big fan of your game - no really, I am, it's my most played game (pure hours put in). I've been playing FIFA since the 90's, and have always been a big fan. Even the people who threaten to switch over to PES, they love your game. Otherwise, it wouldn't lead to such an outpouring of emotion and frustration - we are playing a game where the primary mode (for many) FUT, is broken.

You did an amazing job with the Price Ranges. I was skeptical at first, but it has worked. Players like NIF Messi and Ronaldo are "affordable" compared to the hyperinflation that had destroyed the PSN market. I think in FIFA 16, as long as the coin glitches are patched up, the whole price range system will be extremely effective. I think alot of changes need to be bought forth in FIFA 16 with regards to FUT (coins for good plays, in game achievements etc), but I think you guys will do a good job handling it. You do know what you're doing - after all, I didn't even know I was a FUT fanatic until I played your creation for the first time. I think it's clear that not only is this the most popular mode in FIFA, but that people like me are happy to spend money on FIFA Points - but that we want some core improvements. I think keeping this in mind, you will do a great job giving FUT the makeover it needs. But that's for next year.

This year, implementing the price ranges has lead to some "side effects". You guys reacted quickly, separating the price caps by console, and it really helped. However, there are some serious issues that make it impossible for me to play this game that I love. I can't buy current TOTW players - yeah I can buy a couple here and there, but most of them? There's no chance. When a 79 rated player like Yannick Bolasie is extinct 6 days into his TOTW window, there is something very wrong with the fundamentals. Like many on this forum, I've spent countless hours "BIN Sniping" trying to get players in under 2 seconds, cycling through menus like a maniac. Other "wanted" cards are just invisible. They don't exist as far as the average player is concerned. Someone with fast reflexes and a lot of coins has 50 MOTM Quaresma's in his club, just sitting there waiting for a price cap raise, but for those of us that just want to use the card, there's no chance.

I'm 31 now - I really don't have unlimited free time, and what's happening makes me just not want to play the game. Fair enough - I support EA Sports - if you can't give us a solution this year, just tell us, so we can do other things with our leisure time.

I'm not saying we need to revolutionise market economics here - but perhaps a solution like allowing us to buy players directly from EA for MAX bin just for FIFA 15, or whatever - I'm not smart enough to give you an answer - but somewhere on your payroll, there's someone who has a solution.

I love TOTS time - it's the highlight of my FUT year, but this year I'm scared. I can't bear to think of spending countless hours BIN sniping, trying to land the 1 one blue card on the market at one time. I remember last year, as the the TOTS moved from league to league, the previous weeks TOTS would crash - that's not going to happen with Price Ranges (instead, imagine 400 TOTS MC Hendersons stuck at lowest BIN as the TOTW moves onto a new league). It's going to be a nightmare.

I hope you can take our criticisms with the right mentality, and understand that we truly love the game, and like EA Sports and the software it puts out year after year. I also accept that we, the users played our part in breaking the game - you left the coin glitches in, but the players bought the cheap Fifa 16 coins. I hope that coming to the highlight of the FUT year, you have a reasonable solution for TOTS that addresses our issues and gives us legitimate solutions.
