Spring

I am so grateful to this beautiful blue planet for giving me Life. On Spring days like today Her beauty is almost overwhelming. Embraced by my garden and entranced by Her bounty....my heart sings....my soul sings...and Great Mother sings too!
How can we hate, exploit and destroy?
Just open your eyes and allow the Mother to hold you.

One of my sons has been seriously ill this summer and I have had to use all my energy to help him and my family. Thankfully he is getting better and for that I rejoice. Over this time I deliberately stopped watching the news as it invariably made me angry or sad and I had enough to deal with without taking on the pain of the whole world too.
Love is a powerful thing-especially when a Mother's child is in danger. So how must it feel to have your sons and daughters away at war....never knowing if they will return? How must it feel to hear they have been killed and for what? Some other persons or governments political or religious ideology....! Where is the meaning in all this hate and destruction?

So today I say a prayer for all the Mothers whose children have been killed by hate, political and religious fanaticism and greed.

May they find enough Love in their souls to forgive those that Hate.
May they find enough Hope to continue on Life's journey
And may the comfort and blessing of the Great Mother,
who understands their pain, hold and carry them in their despair.
May Her compassion ease the heart break and bring them Peace.
