The stars, to me, shine not alone
Away off far~
But twinkle near, delightfully,
Where the little children are.
today, while searching on my knees,
I found a star
Imprisoned, underneath a chair,
In a toy car!
From eyes tear~drenched, I brush away
Unhappiness and grief;
Stars, like ember sparks appear.
Radiant with relief.
The mischief stars peek out at night
at bedtime hour,
and brilliance blends with innocence,
In subtle power.
A child looks up, and in his eyes
The love stars shine.
Most precious are these earthly stars,
For these are mine!
