The Seeds of Fear

As I was settling in to sleep last night I got to thinking about love and fear the two origins of all emotions...

We live in a world that is virtually controlled by fear... Fear of debt, fear of job loss, fear of not being good enough, fear of appearing too good, fear of death, fear of change, fear of loss, fear of repercussions, fear of! fear of! ... too many things to list here!!!

... Then there is love...

Love has no conditions. Love accepts that everything changes, it is a natural part of life, it encourages growth and nurtures individual gifts.

...The seeds of fear have no place in love...

The more seeds of fear you plant in a relationship, the more distrust grows and respect dies; the more the balance shifts from equality to controller and judge versus victim.

These seeds of fear become conditions, free will becomes stifled and then love is lost, replaced by fear and paranoia. The seeds of fear are designed to manipulate another into doing something for fear of losing something important to them... It is emotional blackmail, it is a method used to control the behavior of others.

Love is built upon trust and respect. Without these things there is no love, only fear and a breeding ground for resentment and remorse.

If there is a need to control in a relationship then it is wise to look within to find the source of that need. Usually the thing that a person needs to control is the very thing that they feel they have no control over in their own lives... a part of themselves they feel is missing... something they depend on the other person in the relationship to provide them with.

...Unfortunately the other person can't possibly fill that void because that healing has to come from within.

Everything you need is within... all you have to do is look and listen to what your heart is telling you... not the emotional cravings of lust, desire or greed but the pure flame of unconditional love within that nourishes your spirit and keeps you happy and grateful to be alive. The part of you that would protect you, never allow you to disrespect yourself and loves you as a loving parent loves a child.

Within everyone there exists a flickering flame of love... your heart, your spirit. This spirit is nothing but pure unconditional love. That love is a gift for you... cherish it, respect it and nourish it! Don't allow negative self-talk or anyone else to disrespect it. Negative talk comes from fear which comes from clouded judgment, don't take it personally. We all deserve to feel that unconditional love that exists inside every one of us no matter how hidden it may be.... it is there... it is always there!

When you do not allow anyone or anything to disrespect your gift of unconditional love that you hold inside, then you're ready to love and respect another. It is then that a person can fully understand what unconditional love really is. It gives the clarity needed to see things as they are without judgment and the need to control. It frees your spirit so that you can truly understand who you are, what your gifts are and where your path is meant to go for the greater good for you and the ones around you.

The pure love that comes from within provides all that you need to be a whole person. We are all whole people... we all have it within us, it is a part of our being. Knowing this gives you a beautiful gift... to be able to love for the sake of loving, planting the seeds of Love, Peace and Respect.

Always be who you are... you are a beautiful gift made with unconditional love! You are a unique piece of the puzzle of life! You are imperfect perfection!
