TO COLLABORATE OR NOT TO COLLABORATE? THAT IS THE QUESTION

Parents do split up and they need to make arrangements for their children. All the research shows that the children of parents who find a way to work together after they separate/divorce do so much better than parents who don’t.

It really isn’t a difficult concept so why is it that separating parents can’t always grasp it?

I suppose that behaving rationally, reasonably and constructively is the last thing you might feel like doing when you feel angry and hurt. I can say with absolute certainty that your ex and your children would really appreciate it if you parked all those feelings and stepped up to and sat at the collaborative table to talk.
