Various things happened at the second Republican leadership debate on Wednesday night, and most of them confused US comedian Patton Oswalt, Emma Watson and Tom Hanks, if this selfie is anything to go by.
This photo emerged on Twitter in the early hours of Thursday morning, with the caption: "Tom Hanks and Patton Oswalt (and Emma Watson) Watching the GOPDebate on set: 'we're all very confused'"
It's likely that the three stars were watching the Reagan Library debate while on set of The Circle, the anticipated film adaptation of Dave Eggers' dystopian novel of the same name.
The Circle is being directed by The Spectacular Now director James Ponsoldt, who is co-writing the screenplay with Eggers.
Watson has been cast as Mae Holland, a graduate employee at a technology company called The Circle which slowly takes over her life in a sinister way.
Hanks will play Kalden, Mae's mysterious lover who is trying to stop the encroaching power of The Circle. Oswalt, a more recent casting announcement, is one of The Circle's 'Three Wise Men', Tom Stenton - a 1980s Wall Street-style tough guy in an Italian suit.
Kalden is the second Wise Man, and British actor John Boyega will star as the third, Ty, after his role as Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The film is due to be released in 2016, and will paint a bleak near-future ruled by technological control.
Judging by the faces of Watson, Oswalt and Hanks, a future involving these candidates could seem potentially as beguiling. Oswalt shone more light on his evening on Twitter, posting that Hanks "voiced" the candidates as the TV was on mute.
Emma Watson ventures on a new role as part in a war-torn drama film, Colonia. Known for fresh-child and light roles, Emma Watson is now starting to take on mature roles. In the said film, Emma Watson will play the role of Lena, the German wife of a kidnapped husband, which will be portray by Daniel Bruhl.
In lieu with Emma Watson's mature career stint, she and on-screen partner Daniel Bruhl shared an intense kissing scene in the movie, The Hit News shared. The said movie is one of those masterpieces by the Oscar award-winning director, Florian Gallenberger, and one of the films to be looked out for in the Toronto International Film Festival.
Colonia will also showcase Emma Watson's role as sultry wife to Daniel Bruhl. The filming has said to have started last October 2014 in Munich, Berlin, and Buenos Aires, to name a few.
The Daily Mail UK cited that the Harry Potter star got really serious during the filming of the movie. And thus, portray a much different role from what the audience and her fans are used to seeing onto her. Emma Watson is also currently working on her new movie The Circle and the Beauty and the Beast. The said movies are also said to be released next year along with Chile that is tentatively due for showing on January 2016.
Emma Watson's role in the film showcases her deep love for her husband as she fight for love. Taking back in the year 1973 in the movie, Emma Watson portrayal is definitely far out gone from her previous movie roles which were lighter, Entertainment Weekly featured.
Emma Watson is really taking on her career to the next level - and thus, she started with more mature roles this time. Gone are the days that she was the little girl Hermione in the globally-acclaimed book and movie, Harry Potter. Now, Emma Watson is on her new venture in a more mature casting, Colonia.
