Top Five Hot Sunglasses for Spring/Summer 2010

It is that time of year again when the sun warms our face for the first time in months, and as we lean our heads back to bask in the warmth, we think silently, "I need new sunglasses that are hip and cool and hot for spring/summer 2010." Then, as we quickly right our heads to avoid sun damage to our eyes, as well as those nasty wrinkles that come along with squinting on a sunny day, we begin to wonder what might be hot and cool in the world of spring/summer 2010 sunglasses.
Some of us are hoping that we might be able to use sunglasses from former years, since money does remain tight for most, and some of us are ready to splurge. Whether you yearn for something old, or something new, there is something for you in the 2010 Spring/Summer sunglasses wardrobe. Here's all that is new under the sun. Look to to see all of these styles. You can also look to spend around $250 and up for a new pair of shades Ray Ban Sunglasses Outlet.
Round Shapes
Rounded shapes are hot this year when it comes to sunglasses. Of course, big is still big so big and round is extra cool. Emilio Pucci has a lot of rounded frames in their 2010 sunglasses collections and the colors are as fetching as the shapes. Gucci runs circles around the round shapes, as well. If you are wanting to look back to be fashion forward, Dior's Aventura sunglasses have that big, round size and shape and can probably be found for a steal. I already have my pair.
Bright Colors
Once again, Emilio Pucci leads the pack with a plethora of brightly colored sunglasses frames. Many of these bright frames come in a rounded style, so a pair of these is really a two for the price of one deal Chanel Sunglasses Wholesale. Also in the bright light for 2010 Spring/Summer sunglasses is Ed Hardy and his embellished "Tattoo" line of sunglasses. These sunglasses are brightly adorned with tattoo like images and colors on the arms of the sunglasses. I like the ivory colored Cloud version which really highlights the bright. Balenciaga also offers a colorful selection of sunglasses for the upcoming season so don't forget to check out their classic lines in pretty colors.
The Aviator
The aviator style is still right up there for sunglasses and this is good news for many who have already invested in a pair of aviator style sunglasses, as I did last year. I am happy that my Marc Jacobs are still hot this year, but look to his 2010 collection for even more high flying beauties. I also liked what I saw in the Fendi Spring/Summer 2010 when it comes to the aviator shape in sunglasses, and they offer great tints to match the frames Cheap Sunglasses Ray Ban.
Cat Eye Shapes
It is back to the future with cat eye shaped sunglasses ala the 50's and 60's. While not quite as pointy as what my mother used to don, the cat eye shape is everywhere in chunky frames with a whole range of colors. Chloe has a shiny black, chunky cat eye frame that is the cat's meow, and Dsquared has a gorgeous ivory colored pair of cat eye sunglasses that also feature thick lines. My favorite in the cat eye shaped sunglasses was found in the Marc Jacobs collection. These darlings are funky and fabulously glitzed out in a way that will have all eyes on you. Look at the Marc Jacobs as an investment, as they cost $430.
The Shield
Shield style sunglasses waltzed down the fashion catwalks for Spring/Summer 2010, some of them looking down right industrial, but they are a simmering shape with cool tints. Jimmy Choo has a great shield style with lovely burgundy lenses, and Burberry has a shield design in a tortoise with brown tinted lenses. If you love a little glitter, Dolce and Gabanna is the place to look for shield sunglasses that don't scream safety glasses.
Classic Shapes
If you do not like big and bold, or glitzy and round, nor do you want to look like a pilot or a welder, then take heart, as classic shapes and colors are also fab to have for Spring/Summer 2010. I found my favorite pair of classic style, tortoise shell sunglasses with brown tinted lenses in the Georgio Armani 2010 collection. These sunglasses are very classic, elegant, and will flatter many faces shapes and features. You can no doubt find a pair of classic shaped sunglasses in a drawer somewhere.
Whatever you choose to protect those baby blues, have a little fun and try several pairs on to make certain that the shape and color is as nice on you as it is in the picture. The recession is lifting, or so we are told, so a little luxury in your Spring/Summer 2010 sunglasses just might be in order.
