Wake Up!!

Certain people get to go through life as if they deserve more
They seem to have all that anyone could want but keep score
They want their taxes lowered and talk about trickle down
They ship their production overseas and sell it all around

When the country aches they complain about big government
When the people are in pain they plan health care decent
They live in wealthy area's were they gather to talk of life
Keeping up with the Jones is their only form of strife

God and country are claimed while screaming out loud
Little children suffer and soldiers die but yet they are proud
There eyes wide open only poverty trickles down
They pray to God to take care of their families crowns

How did wet to this greedy closed minded state
What in the name of God did their greed create
Immigrants as we all are back to our roots
Starve in the streets adding millions to boot

Wake up I shout at the top of my lungs
The more one gives the more we get done
The environment cries and we all close our eyes
Our children will live in a world they despise
