Watched "The Quiet American" tonight

I feel such gratitude for being alive and so very privilidged to live and grow up in Canada. Its always astounding to me of how much war and grief in peoples lives all around the world and for most of human history and especially during the 20th century yet my Mom and my generation has not been affected by it, well not really, yet we have. Its torn up our family in many ways I suppose, my Grandfather is a military man and created a lot of dysfunction but its complicated. Its amazing how we are all so deeply interconnected and what we do to others, we do to ourselves. We are all mirrors and I have come to realize what I do not like in others is exactly what I do not like in myself reflected at me and its a test to remain presnet and compassionate, caring and patient. Anyhow, just a quick note to say that I pray and intend on all of us collectively choosing to live our lives individually as peaceful as we can, with as much presence as we can so we can co create a world where children can grow up with love rather than hatred and fear and anxiety. I certainly am for peaceful solutions and will work each and every day of my life for this end. Sincerely, Angel Hamilton
