This post is approximately the trail from RC from what we call RTM, release to fabrication.  RTM is just not some part in time but a “process” as from RTM we enable the PC manufacturers to commence their processes to construct Windows 7 images for new PCs, readying downloads for existing machines, and preparing the complete supply chain to deliver Windows 7 to customers.  Thus RTM is the final stage inside our engineering of Windows 7, though the engineering continues from RTM until you can find Windows 7 Ultimate Product Key and Windows 7 Ultimate activation code Desktops in stores at General Availability, or GA.
