Your Child Within

The child within belongs to all of us, But many don’t dare to neither see or feel it.

What should happen it we gave light to that hidden child within.. No… who wants to know?

Yes we try to sublimate are inner needs by giving and once again giving to others and that helps for the moment, maybe also in the long run. Because giving or doing something for someone else is a way to refill one selves. A meaningful way too. But that doesn’t mean that the child within doesn’t catch up with us some day, sooner or later. If that child is a neglected, you are responsible for not giving it what your parents weren’t capable to.
That child is now in your care, since the day you was called grown up. But none will get older than the child they are caring inside.

You can try to save the world , you may even succeed, but that’s no guarantee for that your own inner child is saved.

There exist people, I do know ,which have no neglected child within. They are given from their abundance. That’s good . But the majority of us don’t belong to that group. We are giving of our deficit in an unconsciously hope to get something back.

Did I think so in my youth ? Of course not. I thought it was all given in an un egoistic spirit.
What do I think today? I can see my unconsciously needs and I have the courage to admit them. That doesn’t make my efforts less worth but me a bit more humble.

That’s all I wanted to say…

We have to see and admit our inner child because he or she is the one who unconsciously governs our lives

Having contact with that inner child must be a profound aspects in all Arts.

It doesn't necessarily exist in us even as a child as many of us have to "grow up" way too soon. But I have an inkling that we can all relate to that place even if it is only in dreams.

I have done a lot of thinking and dreaming about this essence of the child. Even the quote from JC... that to enter the kingdom of god we must all become like children.

Being able to entre that place of innoncence once again, without all the condemnations that we all place on our selfs....." we cant do that because...we are not allowed, we dont deserve, that is for others but not for me"

I contact that place mostly with art.... I work in a space where there are no rules, no visions to bring into being, not right or wrong.....it is only to poiur the essence of my being in that moment onto the paper and canvas. Easy?.....well it takes a bit of courage to open myself up to all the cants and not good enoughs in my head....and moving through that ... to the thought that anything that is on the page is perfect.
