Hello Jackson! Why did you thank me for the photo? Does the video of the Dalai Lama 14 talking about Peace and Harmony not work for you? I hope you were able to hear his speech. It's Thanksgiving Weekend here in Canada so things have been a little crazy! haha! I know your's is not until next month but I hope YOU are enjoying YOUR weekend! Peace and Love! hugs! --Christie
Love is always present, in the world, in nature, in us. What changes is our realisation of it.
Sending you a hearty smile from nature, dear Jackson.

Bonjour Jackson
RE: Hi Douglas. Yes, I'm interested in sustainable energy. I don't work professionally in that are right now. I actually manage the manufacturing of hospital equipment. My wife and I have recently started a green program in our neighborhood, where we try to measure the amount of possible energy expenditure and maximize energy efficiency. A drop in a bucket of water, but it still is working towards something better.
This is neat stuff! Congratulations to you and your wife. Healing ourselves and the planet takes many steps. We are as well working on a number of sustainable energy projects.
Are you familiar with Ecological Footprint calculations? There are a number of calculators available on the web for homes, communities and now more for business and industry.
The last 15 years we've led an Eco-Montreal Tiohtiake mapping of the greater Montreal area www.eco-montreal.mcgill.ca as well as a mapping of First Nation placenames Tsi Tetsionitiotiakon Sustainabilty Rooted in Heritage with Mohawk and other First Nations http://cbed.geog.mcgill.ca/WIP.html
We're working on ecological cohousing, which by organising and accounting for individual and community investment and exchange, allows for people to interact for livelihood. We research and implement indigenous traditional knowledge for multi-family planning and economy.
One of our architectural projects for an old city Water Tower commissioned by the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation CMHC has Elemental Design plans for Linear Axis Helical Wind Generation, Passive Solar Charting for 50,000 square feet of building space, green roofs, rain and snow water capture for domestic use, green-biodigestion toilets, grey water reuse in extensive indoor plantings, exterior wall ivy and vines
Dag Radicevic, a medical engineer colleague has developed Infra-red (body heat) diagnostic equipment which has been used for the past 35 years at Montreal's largest private medical clinic and thus developed much data for computer algorithms which in turn have continually improved the diagnostics made. Infra-red is valuable as a non-invasive diagnostic tool for first evaluations and avoids unnecessary invasive (and damaging) Xray, MMR and Ultrasound exposures. There are a number of interesting best-practices in hospital equipment.
I'm working on an ergonomic Bio-Cycle (bicycle) research project with the collaboration now of a manufacturer to build the first prototype. An industrial designer Bernie Shalinsky who has done some neat innovations in body position and back support is part of our team.
I'm interested in any discussion on ecological design.
Hi it’s good to know you. Stay blessed.
Regards, love and peace.
