O PARTIDO DA MULHER BRASILERA – PMB possui um objetivo central e cinco áreas setoriais que retratam os objetivos gerais. OBJETIVO CENTRAL: Buscar o reconhecimento, a consolidação e a valorização da mulher no cenário de um mundo globalizado que pressupõe a igualdade dos direitos. A atuação do PARTIDO DA MULHER BRASILERA – PMB se efetivará através de cinco áreas setoriais que valorizam, prioritariamente, a mulher nos campos social, econômico, político, esportivo, ambiental, educacional, dos direitos humanos e cultural. ÁREA SETORIAL POLÍTICA: Defesa da consolidação dos poderes públicos economicamente fortes e estáveis. Defesa da consolidação de um estado democrático. Defesa da atuação da mulher no cenário político nacional e internacional. Defesa da atuação da mulher em cargos majoritários e de chefias. Defesa e ampliação das relações políticas do Partido da Mulher Brasileira com outros partidos mundiais congêneres. ÁREA SETORIAL SOCIAL: Defesa da participação do estado no cenário de uma saúde pública de qualidade. Defesa da ampliação de oportunidades para a mulher na prática de esportes individuais e coletivos. Defesa dos direitos da mulher portadora de necessidades especiais. Defesa da melhoria de investimentos públicos para a habitação popular. Defesa para a garantia de uma educação pública de qualidade. Defesa do respeito aos símbolos e aos patrimônios e bens culturais nacionais. ÁREA SETORIAL DE DIREITOS HUMANOS: Defesa da igualdade de direitos entre sexos. Defesa da repressão à prostituição infantil. Defesa da repressão à exploração sexual e ao tráfico de mulheres. Defesa do cumprimento do Estatuto dos Idosos e do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente. Defesa da redução à violência doméstica. Defesa da igualdade de direitos para minorias e do respeito à diversidade. Defesa à repressão ao tráfico de entorpecentes. Defesa da população indígena. Defesa do fortalecimento da família. Defesa à liberdade de expressão e dos meios de comunicação. Defesa para penas mais rígidas para crimes hediondos. ÁREA SETORIAL ECONÔMICA: Defesa e fortalecimento dos micro-empreendimentos. Defesa e ampliação de práticas da economia solidária. Defesa de uma economia balizada por cobrança de impostos menores e mais justos. Defesa dos direitos da mulher trabalhadora doméstica e do campo. Defesa da ampliação de investimentos públicos em infra-estrutura. Defesa da ampliação de geração de empregos. ÁREA SETORIAL DO MEIO-AMBIENTE: Defesa de punições mais severas contra o desmatamento e a poluição. Defesa do respeito à Amazônia como reserva nacional. Defesa da garantia de um melhor desenvolvimento sustentável. Defesa da repressão ao tráfico de animais silvestres. Defesa da ampliação do uso de energias alternativas.

Ages passed just to recognize the way her look
To describe her eyes, you must have read every book

One eye, the universe so immense
The other, I know not where to commence
Before I saw them, I used to fly
Now I am hung between earth and sky.

Her eyes when she talked to me of pure love
That pretty morning or when the sun was above
Which time exactly I could not remember,
It was cold in June and hot in December.

Begazing deep into her eyes I lost all gesture
For what I saw could not bedrawn into picture
Enough is that when I met her for the first time
The whole eternity was gone with this rhyme.

Just being nice to each other is the best advice we can give to the people in the middle east..... that will stop the fighting there. Shame that they nor listing to us.

Oi Ana, I had a feeling you might be a Brazilada when I saw your photo. I am in Belo Horizonte for 6 months now, and starting to speak a bit more Portuguese. I'm from Hawaii, but plan to stay in Brazil and buy a farm for organic food and bamboo for construction and clothing. Hi Ana, thanks for your interest. To some extent it's in God's hands how long it will take to roll out all facets of selfport. I hope the first part will be up by Q1 '09. Some parts, which are not necessarily the most technically demanding, could be legally complex...since we are working on a new form of micro-finance (different from Kiva.org, for instance.) But even without that, we have a lot of features, that could help people to improve their lives. I'd be happy to show them to you, now or when they launch (or in between, during private beta.) Your experience in Africa could be very helpful.
