I am honored and blessed to be your friend in peace, Ali Afifi. After 9/11, I read the Koran and many other books on Islam and the people of the Middle East. I have also been a student of Kabbalah for many years. I welcome learning more, for I have always felt that it is the far right fundamentalists in all organized religions that manifest violence in this physical dimension. Of course, I also know that there is enough for everyone, yet greed by the few perpetuates fear, hunger, poverty, the lack of basic human freedoms and civil rights. America is not as free as it pretends to be, especially during the last eight years. It has been said that great chaos often precedes a new balancing, a new harmony on the Earth plain. We have now elected a new president, Barack Obama, and a new Congress, both the House and the Senate. I now have great hope for new beginnings, for peace to prevail.

My picture was taken this past July 2008, at the International Peace Gardens that straddles the borders of the USA (North Dakota) and Canada. I call it "One Foot in the USA and One Foot in Canada."

I am eager to learn more, Ali Afifi. As a nondenominational, nonsectarian Spiritual Peacemaking Minister who does not want to be a pulpit preacher with any church or organized religion, I prefer to teach and to continue my journey of learning and loving unconditionally all people in this physical dimension. Therefore, please continue to share and teach me new understandings of your rich culture, your rich heritage, and the teachings of the Koran.

That is good thinking. I feel that all people should communicate and each learn to understand the point of view of others. To my mind understanding, tolerance and dialogue are the only ways for the worlds population to settle their differences and live in peace and harmony.

Although I do not belong to any organised religion, and for my own reasons do not intend to, I am fascinated by the subject and have spent several years discussing various beliefs with others at regular meetings.
My main spiritual interests are shamanism and animism.
