Hi Edward, I admire what you do alot, i am a parent to a child who suffered with a rare syndrome which left her disabled. Also in the last two years i to have become disabled. I understand the injustices in this world, and i have had many fights just getting things to help make my daughters life better. I understand how tired you can get from fighting your own battles, let alone doing as you do fighting for others.

At first sorry my english, but I try.
I live in Finland, a cuontry in the north Europe.I like to be your friend and that we can write to each other.I do'nt know about what, perhaps peace or something else.

Hi Edward: Having been an apartment complex manager we were very cognizant of people like you so that they had easy access to the building and convenience within their apartment so they could get along as well as anyone else. Our public facilities were also remodeled so that wheelchairs had adequate space to maneuver.
At one point, we got a telephone call from a woman with disabilities and a wheelchair who drove a car, and we met her at the garage entrance so she didn't have the inconvenience of getting from her car into the building. We actually had people help her get into the building easily.
It was the law in Wisconsin that people were treated equally, but in my opinion, it was important to go out of our way so that people with disabilities are treated more than equally.
I'm glad you fight for your rights. Many of us out here are willing to help with that issue.

Bless You Edward for being an advocate for the disabled. Your story is very humbling for Me. You are a true hero. I also am on disablity but for mental illness. I take medicene and am somewhat well and do My best to maintain that. There are still problems and I do My best. I joined this site because I am looking for peace and want peace for everyone else. و أعني على الأقــداح بالرمز خططوا****** فأفهمكها سهـــــــــــل بربع مهول
يسمى للبس العــــــقل فينا حضارة****** و ماذا عســــــاك الرد لو قلت فاسطل
و لا الخيل ذي أن كنــت تملك نعامة ****** و تعلم مزاحي فانتــــــــظر أي تمهل

Hi Edward, thank you for extending the hand of friendship. I appreciate your desire to be an advocate for the disabled. This is very important work. I am involved in a produce redistribution program right now that will directly benefit those with disabilities and elderly, as well as others. Thank you for all you do Edward. wow, i thought I was disabled until I read yoiur story. I worked 25 years as a Juvenile Probation Officer, got hurt breaking up a fight and suffered a bad fall at work, and my job would not allow me back to work, forcing me into early retirement, having to pay for medical benefits (when only a year away from getting it free). I've been denied SS disabilty and live now, on a retiremtn check that doesn't even cover my rent. If you have any advise, would appreciate it.

I love your page. You have been through so much heartache and still, you move on and most importantly still have peace.You are a great inspiration to those who have pain or have just given up on life. I have similar cond as u, yet not as severe(spinal condition from top to bottom,extreme shakes(maybe hyper thyroid,not sure yet) and have lost ones I love.Yet I still live and feel peace in my heart. I hope you have peace and love w/every breath of this wonderful and short life.
