It's amazing t to see a family create a life way from their best inclinations. Wendy and I did too. We did it though the idealism we brought to public education. We discovered we had to compromise our idealism with the state and district. Fortunately we could treat our students just as kindly and respectfully as our idealism demanded in our respective classrooms. I have a daugther that lives in Los Felis. She's a young professor at Dominguez Hills. She is treating her students with the respect they deserve too. Your family is beautiful. Gordon Millar is very supportive . . . this will be a major social network with tens of millions of members. It's so great that all the members now have an opportunity to get to know David Califia and Gordon and of course eachother . . . that may not be as possible for new members in the future. it's great to see you & your lovely family photo here on Peace again :o)

My wife Kerry & I have 2 kids ~ Orla 4yrs & James 10mths ~ and we try to teach them about the the important things in life. Somedays it feels like we are swimming against the tide with all the Western values of consumerism, materialism, vanity etc. We've gone organic & have pictures of MLK, HH Dalai Lama & Gandhi on our living room wall :o)
