The art of peace is within us all.
It begins from within and flows outward.
The reality we create is a reflection of our own state of mind,
and our state of mind determines how we perceive everything around us.
The pain we feel both internally and collectively is not caused by others, but caused by our own inability to recognise our connectness.
The divisions and differences we imagine create conflict.
When we are fully aware the conflict ends.
To realise this, we awaken from the dream, and freedom begins.
It only takes each one of us to change all of us, as we are all one.
David,what the hey?
are you okay and who is carrying on your beautiful site for folks to sublimate their powerful urges against peace...anyway , it's not so easy, but i do hope you can carry on with us...and somehow that Clicia will be able to keep it open..but i am sorta mixed up from the home spage...says Ipeace is closing. hope that is yesterday's news.
your freind across cyberspace,
Aminah
Posting these on facebook for easier reading...may need a magnifying glass here...just don't have the time. Too much energy in trying to save this place!
Wang...you have a certain way with words.....makes me flush in the face!!! But Des here, is really really the one who is deep....going to miss these possibilities to chat like this, everyone state his own thought.
And I know David is going to miss them too. Who will miss them and hurt, and who will miss them and not hurt.
The Art of Peace is not easy. It is a fight to the finish, the slaying of evil desires and all falsehood within. on occasion the Voice of Peace resounds like thunder, jolting human beings out of their stupor.
"As soon as you concern yourself with the good and bad of your fellows, you create an opening in your heart for maliciousness to enter. Testing, competing with, and criticizing others weaken and defeat you." Ueshiba
"The Art of Peace is medicine for a sick world. There is evil and disorder in the world because people have forgotten that all things emanate from one source. Return to that source and leave behind all self-centered thoughts, petty desires, and anger. Those who are possessed by nothing possess everything." - Morehei Ueshiba
Regardless of my thoughts, expressed today and at varied other times, I must thank iPeace, and of course, ultimately you, for bringing me in touch with a group of people I would never ordinarily have met,,albeit in a 'virtual' world. These people have, again ultimately, siphoned themselves down to a smaller number, all of whose friendship I cherish just as much as those in the real world.
The closure earlier this year, something I shall not comment on, made some folks reassess their roll in being a member of the site and began exchanging e-addresses. Now this is happening once more due to some WANTING to stay in touch and keep their friendship, born out of YOUR website, before closure. For this I must give my thanks and gratitude....Don't lose touch with yourself and thereby lose touch with the principle of Peace that you showed by initiating iPeace.
Don't get bitter and twisted...................You and your actions, likened to a baby throwing his toys out of the pram, caused the disharmony and the closing of iPeace.
I have made my point on a few occasions either to you here or on your You Tube channel so am not going to waste time and energy explaining them to a person such as yourself again. I find you to be a disgrace to not only Peace but to the site you put together in the first place. I am a Jew, as many on the site are aware, and, quite honestly I find you a disgrace to yours and my religion and background.
You should be ashamed of yourself with your pathetic diatribe aimed at the previous admin woman...Just because she 'dared' oppose your views (a memory of Hitler and his megalomania springs to mind).
What I suggest is you just go off and play with those that are of the same mind as yourself and allow others to choose what they wish to do instead of keep posting that shit of yours on the home page. We're all bored with it...We've chosen what we want to do without your continual back-stabbing...Grow up !
You are a disgrace....Now, maybe you have the idea that so many of the site's members dislike you and all you stand for (and I don't think that's Peace, buddy).
Goodbye.
ps..You should read the private messages I've received, including messages to my e-mail address, from many, many people that feel exactly as I do...Pull up your socks, dry the tears, straighten your back and act like a man....unless that's too difficult for you.
David, Starting and maintaining this network was a very good thing. For a while you and others here walked a difficult road well. Then the network lost its way despite the efforts of many. Pity.
