My mother had to have hip replacement surgery last month. She is okay but still recovering. She has to get cataract surgery as well. I must go back and leave my 16 year old to stay with her for a while. It is hard- we have never been away from each other more than a week. It is sadder because it will be Ramadan month right after I leave. Also I must look for a new teaching job when I return. My contract was up and they did not want to wait till I got back to renew. God willing it will all work out.
Tell me about your summer. It must be so beautiful there.
