I am interested in Thai culture and politics, especially how Burmese exiles on the border can make some good impact as guests in your country. I study language and would often visit my Thai + Aussie neighbours to discuss a little bit of Thai translation, and also justice issues.
I also selected the option (on profile) "I am a born activist", as I was called this last week, by a friend with a smile. Where I am is also a beach community, like your photo. I too am new on here. Can I ask: what is the Thai word for "namaste" (Nepali greeting and blessing)?
