Thank you very much for sharing so much information with me. I am really grateful to you as I have been learning a lot from you. You are really a great lady. My daughter Sania will be above 14 years. She is just entering the age of adulthood. My son Muhammad Kamran will be above 10 years and now he is in the 4th class. My other son Muhammad Danyal will be above 10 years and he is in the 1st class. My little son Muhammad Ilyas is just below 5 years. I have not yet admitted to the school. Girls and boys have been studying in seperate schools. Actually terrorists have destroyed most of girl schools. My daughter has just started going to school as the situation in Bajaur Agency is coming to normalcy in Bajaur Agency. The terrorists have destroyed the whole infrastructure. There are still terror and fear in the areas. The women cannot walk freely at the moment. Both my wife and my daughter are facing the problem. But I am hopeful of better days. I hope someone will come to our rescue. I am waiting for the savoir. He will certainly come. I do not know who will be that savoir, but I am sure he will come.
Thank you very much for your kindness and love. May God the Great give you all the happiness in this life and in the life hereafter.

My dear friend Lyndal, Thank you very much for your good words for me. I am really happy to be your friend. I have a daughter and three sons. My daughter Sania is in the 9th class. This is my desire to provide her the best education as I have been deprived of this right. Now I am relying on my husband for conveying my message to you. Again thank you very much for your kindness and love

My dear friend Lyndal, a lot of thanks for your good wishes. I am really grateful to you. At the moment we have been living in a very difficult situation. My home has been destroyed in the fighting. Now I am trying to arrange another house somewhere in Bajaur Agency or Peshawar. Due to my writing the state is making me the target. At the moment I am a victim of state terrorism. I am jobless as no newspaper in Pakistan is ready to give me the job. But I am struggling with the hope that I shall succeed. At the moment my wife and my children are in great trouble. I love Fatima to talk to the people like you. I think this will be a bid change in her life. Because of me she is also the victim of state terrorism. She is in search of love, but from everywhere she is getting hatredness. We are tired as at the moment we have been running for our lives. Our lives are in danger. Please pray for our safety. May God the Great give you all the happiness in this life and in the life hereafter if there is any.

My dear friend Lyndal,
A lot of thanks for your kind words about me and my wife Fatima. Actually Fatima has grown up in her village Batai. At that time there was no facility of education in the areas. She has been learning now. When I started campaign for peace she has provided me the support. She spent several nights without foods, but she never made a complaint. She always tried to make the life for me easy. She is very beautiful and innocent woman. I am jobless and finding hard to provide even foods to my wife and my children, but they are not making any complaint. She is always with me in my struggle. At the moment she can write directly, but I always used to write for her. She just gives me the idea and then I write for her. She contributed several articles in the OEN. The following is the link of her author page in OEN.

I think that only women can bring the real change in the world as they are in the important positions. The women are mothers. Paradise is under the feet of mothers, I heard from a wise man. I have great respect for my wife Fatima. Now she is learning the English. The time is not far away when she will speaking with you directly. At the moment we are in difficult situation as our home has been destroyed in the fighting in our areas. Due to my writing nowadays the officials are teasing me. They have deprived me of the job. At the moment I am using the computer of Peshawar Press Club as I have no personal computer. At the moment I am resourceless. I am trying to get a good job then Fatima will be able to talk you directly. I want to purchase a computer for her. My daughter Sania is in the 9th class. She can write and speak in English. At the moment we are in difficult situation. I am hopeful of better days. Just keep in mind that you will be always in our thoughts and prayers. May God the Great give you all the happiness in this life and in the life hereafter if there is any.

Yes dear Lyndal, I see the similarities. Undoubtedly and sadly too, religion is being used as the biggest hinderance for peace. Ironicle! Isn't it?

Most of us are activists, but how many can actually empathise? If one can not feel the pain and sufferings of others, how can one understand and have the correct orientation?

Ooops...... LOL

Much love,
Kumud

Dear Lyndal,

This evening (December 21st, 2008) we'll light a candle in our Hanukkiah (candles holder) and each of the following eight evenings we'll add another candle till we'll reach the full Hanukkiah (as in my picture).
May its light fill your home and heart with light, bring peace and joy to all people wherever they live and make our planet a better place to live in.
Hag Sameah - Happy Holiday.
