No wonder, that you wonder about me and the names! In Germany, the guy who spent some time in the belly of the whale is named Jona, the way you also know it. I was not very accurate, when I spoke about Jonathan in the whale. But Jona (like John and many other names) is an abbreviation / a nickname for Jonathan. However, Jonathan really is a fitting name for you as it means: GOD's GIFT. And that's, what you, JONATHAN Drew Blanton, really are!!!
Jonathan had also been one of the favorite names for the child in my belly - until I knew, that she's a girl. She got her first name from the mother of the mother of her mother: KAROLINA (nickname KARA), that means 'free and active'. And her second name is JOANNA, which is like Johanna another variation of Jonathan. It means 'out of God's grace', what is nothing else than 'God's gift'. And she really is. Like you. We celebrate her name day on May 30th, the day of Jeanne d'Arc.

Did you get that name 'Jonathan' after your journey and your second birth, that really is comparable with that story of Jonathan in the whale?
