Hi Marianne,
Thank you for sharing your personal story about changing from negative to positive thinking. If a person can change their own way of thinking, then a world can too. Granted, it is a slightly bigger task, but it's just a numbers game. When enough of us speak out and say that violence is not the way to solve our problems and is, in fact, totally unacceptable, change will come. This network is the perfect place for us to begin to realize and strengthen our numbers. Let us remember that power is not a bad thing, except when it is used for bad things. As John Lennon said, "POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

I am delighted to hear that monks are moving in nearby...you are so fortunate, i think the Netherlands is a wonderful place to live....i understand some Dutch since I can speak Afrikaans...it will really help with any negativity to have monks so nearby....love hugs peace and compassion to you...one day when i travel again perhaps we will meet face to face.. your new friend carol
