Members Spamming

If anyone sees a member spamming (sending out multiple messages advertising another site or advert) can they let any of the Network admin know immediately. iPeace have very clear guidelines laid down for spamming. Network admin will remove or give out necessary warnings.

Just because someone mentions a business, should we presume that they are just a spammer?

Yes.

Unless they are appear to be genuine peace-makers, like the rest of us. We may have businesses in the real world, but we are all here to promote peace. Period.

We've had a flood of spammers lately, I guess it's kind of a compliment ~ that they target us because we are a successful global network.

But, maintaining the integrity of this sanctuary is our priority, and I rely on you guys more than any other members of this 20,000 strong peace community.

The bigger we get, the stronger we're gonna have to be,

I think we are being unfair and displaying double standards, there are already a few members on iPeace that have links to business, one of them is http://www.ipeace.me/profile/SuggaRay, he joined on 31.7.09 with two profiles and was allowed to stay with this one, the other more "in your face" advertising page was deleted.

Why don't we just asked them politely to remove their links, if they are inappropriate, give them a chance to show they are not spammers...... "innocent until proven guilty"
