The chance of a lifetime for Rashad....and his disappointment

SUCH A SHAME, SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT - BECAUSE OF A POOR BANK STATEMENT, RASHAD DID NOT GET HIS VISA FOR THE USA

This is an excerpt from a letter I received from Rashad:

But I did not got visa due to my poor bank statement
. I am little disappointed from US embassy and laws because We are doing efforts for peace and betterment but we cannot avail all opportunities because we no have bank balance.the question is if we have bank balance then we could handle things here. then we no need to send requests or doing efforts abroad.
But again I said I respect every country laws.

It's crazy how a country in such need, needs to show that they have enough money in the bank. It's too bad that Rashad is missing this occasion to go to the States, to present his organization in Indiana as he had hoped - Hope Development Organization.

If only he had a wealthy sponsor....wouldn't that be wonderful.

Agreed Nicolette-Thank YOU Steph, for writing this blog. Rashad was to actually come to my State when in the USA,I was looking forward to his visit here & had hoped to meet him and perhaps hear him speak/give presentation about his work & organization,sad very sad his visa was denied :(

There are plenty of sponsors - it is just a matter of knowing how to find them, and convince them you are worth sponsoring.

USA's loss in this case, I think.
Rashad is worthy of so much more - respect for one - but robots in visa offices do not know how to recognise a good and loving soul.
