"Nonviolence is not a garment to be put on and off at will.
Its seat is in the heart, and it must be an inseparable
part of our very being."
The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong."
~ Mahatma Gandhi, 1869-1948

In his acceptance speech, the spiritual leader said it was a happy moment for him to recall Mahatama Gandhi who had experimented with non-violence to gain freedom for India.
He said he had also adopted the path of non-violence and was an admirer of Mahatama Gandhi.

Thank you Clicia, I think you are one of the most ardent followers of this revered and great soul Mahatma Gandhi. Let us all open our hearts with love, love for each other and love for the world to realize his vision of peace. Nothing is impossible, there is always a way if there is a will. Like little drops of water washing away the dust and grime, positive thoughts generated with love will destroy the negative.

If I could leave a gift to you, leave
the feeling of loving the life of human beings.
Awareness of learning everything that was taught by time off.
Remember the mistakes that were made to no longer be repeated.
The ability to choose new directions.
Would leave you if I could, what respect is essential.
Besides the bread and work. Besides work, action.
And when all else failed, a secret: that of finding within himself the strength to answer and find the exit
Mahatma Gandhi
~~~~~~~~~~
Se eu pudesse deixar algum presente à você, deixaria
o sentimento de amar a vida dos seres humanos.
A consciência de aprender tudo o que foi ensinado pelo tempo a fora.
Lembraria os erros que foram cometidos para que não mais se repetissem.
A capacidade de escolher novos rumos.
Deixaria para você, se pudesse, o respeito aquilo que é indispensável.
Além do pão, o trabalho. Além do trabalho, a ação.
E, quando tudo mais faltasse, um segredo:
o de buscar no interior de si mesmo a resposta e a força para encontrar a saída
Mahatma Gandh
Mahatma Gandhi, was the charismatic leader who brought the cause of India's independence from British colonial rule to world attention. He powerfully demonstrated his philosophy of non-violence, for which he coined the term satyagraha, as of the most powerful tools uniquely available to the masses for lasting peace. Clicia Pavan
