Morning.... Yes he does, I used to have a jacket like that in the 60's, but the background colour was cream. Did you have any bright coloured outfits then, or perhaps you still have them tucked away, I wish I had kept mine for my daughter to wear ? :)

He is beautiful, just like you! He can have a stable with all the other equines, right next to the unicorns. Tomorrow he can go out into the paddock with all the others, they will delight in his coat of many colours.

Very good answer, thank you. I know female reindeer do not loose their antlers before the winter so that they can fight better for food when it is scarce, fight off all those greedy male reindeer, so that they have food to feed themselves and their unborn babies. Nature gets it right all the time. Only stupid men/women think they know better than nature.

How often do moose shed antlers?

Answer
Once per year.
During spring and summer the growth hormone levels rise, and the antlers grow until the male testosterone takes over and stops the growth.
One can say that he antlers are "dead" during fall, so they are hard and sit very tight - thus they can be used in the fighting and "displaying" that procedes rut and mating.

After rut the testosterone levels go down, and the growth hormone starts to rise in level again - Therefore the antlers "rootarea" gets soft again as the new antlers start to grow, and the old antlers are no longer so firmly connected.
The antlers are generally dropped in october- januari, but exceptions are not rare.

The largest bull-moose ever seen/shot/weighed have been cryptorchid (testicles have not moved down into the scrotum), or have had very small and nonfunctional testicles.
Therefore their antlers have grown for years without being dropped, and the bull has not lost weight and strength, since it never had to fight for domain or the right to mate.(in other words it never got Horny, thus it kept it's Horns)

Hostess please, I don't believe in Women's Lib that was a step backwards. Why would we want to be equal with men... we were already superior :) Sir lol.... nervously!

Oh You Wonderful, Host or Hostess, what is the politically correct way I should address You, or in other words, knowing Your care for politically correctness, what would You like to be called?
As far as My choice of wine, it depends on what I would be doing.
