ROLL UP, ROLL UP FOR THE MAGICAL GALLERY TOUR - COME THIS WAY! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ...ALL DAY LONG - OPENED!

THIS IS INDEED A MARVELOUS PLACE. I HAVE OPENED WITH MY WHOPLE HEART IN DEDICATION TO A MARVELOUS FRIEND OF MINE. AS SAYS OSHO, THE MAGNIFICENT MASTER, ITALIANS ARE VERY GROUNDED, VERY EARTH-LIKE!
===============
I want to invite you al to OPEN DISCUSSIONS HERE, with your CLEAR NAME in the TITLE and the NAME of the art work or art works you LIKE, ENJOY, placing here.
It will be certainly much more easy afterwards, to people to consult and find and watch your art - or of your friends or anya rtist you feel as to expose here, thatn to put the paintings or photos, videos or links in the COMENT BOX, becuase, you see..., the coment box already has 12 pages. It will be very difficult to people to have access to your paintings or owrks, photos, or videos, if you put them there.
Who has the time to keep on rolling the scroll and turning pages to see our (mad) conversations? Nobody. Or very rarely, I might be the only one who sometimes does it, for administration reasons.
SO PLEASE , BE SO KIND TO OPEN A DISCUSSION WITH FULL NAME FIRST AND ART WORK NAMES AFTER, for instance, THE BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL, or STEPHANIE SEYMOUR - OLIVE PHOTOS or so.
HAVE FUN and let us enjoy the marvelous show that never ends: STEPHANIE'S ART GALLERY. Thank you, dear.

Taza!!! We forgot to put the GALLERY HOURS on the door! (where IS the door....uh, over here....near my mouse, no....well, find the door somewhere and please put up the hours would you?) Remember Taza, the cleaning lady comes in on Saturdays (left the money under the vase, the vase some artist brought in, careful it is very delicate). Pay her and then don't forget to arrange the paintings new artists have brought in....we are having a collective show next week, right?

Anyhow, gallery hours...you figure them out. We could be open 24 hours a day, but maybe we will need a rest...of course, I am in Italy, you in Brazil and so, with help of others we can take turns in sitting here...ok? And buy a few more chairs, Taza, if you could. ...or better yet, everyone can bring their own chair when they show up!
Have a good day or night.
Steph

Rene
thanks for adding the painting of your artist friend, Karl Meyers.
Those clouds remind me of just how important clouds are in our lives! We also talk negatively about a "cloud over my head", meaning that we are down or depressed. But when clouds are so dynamic, so strong and colorful and bold, it gives us a feeling about the strenth of the world and gives us more energy too, just looking at them.

I love the attention Karl gave to that sky,and how delicately he worked on it. The bright colours of the scene remind me of how I too, like to vary the colours of what I truly see, to make the whole piece work. And to change what is normal and everyday.
Thanks Rene for sharing, and your friend Karl is welcome to show others, of course.
Stephanie

Here is a photo taken at a nearby hill town, Corciano. Sky colours are sometimes "unreal" in their beauty.

....just for fun....
Here are two girls I drew with colored pencils. The humor is that the title in Italian says "Two Brunettes" OR "Two Blackberries" (which they are holding in their hands. Of course the attention is more towards the girls who are BLOND, and that is where the humor is....one can barely see the blackberries, the two "more" which is the same word as blackberry!

Vicky
these figures are so enjoyable to see! The bright colors, the combination of forms that repeat themselves (the longggggg skirs and the longggg flowers in the background, and the girls, almost the same one but in two different positions). I enjoy seeing the female figure painted...and these two ladies make me feel very relaxed...just standing in the middle of nature, offering their beautiful flowers...they must be very healthy, surrounded by all that beauty. Of course it makes one relaxed to see them.

To a smiling Vicky from a smiling Stephanie!

Vicky - I love the feeling of how the different shapes fit together like a puzzle. And the warm colors, like Mexico itself. And the serious look of the girls, staring out at us amongst flowers that aren't as colorful as the ones they are carrying...a peaceful painting, almost magical. Thanks for sharing!
