Our Mission

Voice for Peace, based in Bajaur Agency, Pakistan, promotes peace and the rule of law while seeking to extinguish violence, corruption, and terrorism. Voice for Peace promotes education and sustainable employment as tools that can deprive terrorists of new recruits, thus helping develop a more peaceful society. Originally founded with a vision of building schools to serve youth, mothers, and others in Pakistan’s neglected tribal areas, the advent of war has spurred Voice for Peace to expand its mission, cooperating with the United Nations, the Government of Pakistan, and other organizations to help meet the immediate needs of people displaced by systemic violence.
Voice for Peace seeks an end to violence in Bajaur Agency and the world, and is committed to promoting education, sustainable employment, and the rule of law without resorting to violence in any form. Voice for Peace affirms the innate and equal worth of every human being, and calls on every person and organization throughout the world to acknowledge this essential truth in word and action.

The reporter of Frontline was on visit to Peshawar some three or four years ago. He has hired a Pakistani cameraman for preparing a documentary on Bajaur Agency. That was the time when the US drones have carried their first attack in tribal areas. The cameraman has approached me and took my interview in which he asked several questions. I have tried my best to anwser the question. The cameraman, who is also my friend, told me that the Frontline team wanted to meet you. They were staying in guest house in Peshawar. I accepted the invitation and went to the guest house where the reporter with his own cameraman were staying. After a long chat I have told them to please promot peace. After hearing my request, the reporter, whose name I have been forgotten, but he is present in the video, the link of which has been posted by my dear friend Marina, told me, "Muhammad you are smoking hashish". Why you are saying this? I asked him. He told me "Look Muhammad what we will eat if the peace returns to the world". Now you can come to the conclusion why the rulers have been promoting war in the war. Actually war is the source of income for many people, but they have been ignoring the reality that only innocent people mostly women and children have been killed or maimed in the war. Now look only the innocent people mostly women and children have been suffering. I am just adding the link first posted by my dear friend Maria.

A bomb blast at five star hotel where mostly foreigners have been staying has badly affected the relief operation. I have posted an article in OpEdNews.com about the after effects of the blast that killed some 6 UN officials. The situation is very grim and critical at the moment.

I am really grateful to all my friends, who are giving happiness. I shall request all of you to please the message of peace to the whole world. Actually now the peace must be the demand of the whole.
