Guidelines for active welcome team members

2.-Indicate on the Comment Wall below when you are ready to do some welcoming. If nobody is actively welcoming..

I think that it's very nice that some members of ipeace send their own person welcome to new members who have joined ipeace but I also think that the members that do post a welcome should be asked to take notice when the official Welcome Team message is posted on a page asking the new member to remove certain links because they are unacceptable.

It gives mixed messages if they are being asked to remove their links and then being welcomed by another and asking them to join their group.

Also is there any follow up from when we post the removal of links message? I think there should be, the team report all the people that they post it to, so what is the next step?

We really do need some new guidelines, the old ones are a little outdated considering how many of all the 150 or so members of the team are actually doing welcoming

I think each team member should be responsible for checking to see if the links have been removed after they have posted the request for them to be removed.

If after a week the links have not been removed then we should report the person to "Report and Issue".

If every team member who is active have their own discussion where only they post who has been given the warning then it will be easy for follow up checks to take place by the team member.

There could also be a discussion started for those members who are less active and don't need a dedicated discussion for their postings.
