Our country our world is divided and dangerous
We make decisions under the illusion of freedom for us
We are not free but we do have rights and so
Those inalienable rights are guaranteed and important to Know

We are innocent until proven guilty but we have tortured
We occupy other countries under laws ignored
When will old men save lives of young men in law
What will it take to believe others without war

Giving to others is a part our heritage our culture
Helping to educate, feed, clothe and shelter
What do we in war corrupts us four sure
The greed and or vitriol that majorities ignore

What divine right destroys countries's homes and children
Rhetoric blown out of proportion about others freedom
Patience and living should serve as an example as told
Greed for power and control as money has distorted goals

9-11 has reminded me of our pride and what we protected
The bravery and loss of life for senseless killing we protested
Chasing Terrorists all over as they should be detested
Raising consciousness so we will never be bested

Remember why we are here and keep the bar low
We reap what we sow the bible tells us so
We must give and teach the best that we know!
Relying on goodness not greed as we go

And so I say again and again!

The Beatles & Stones were the rage
Marched for peace sung on stage
Back from Nam to see how to change
Building a company seemed so strange

Prayed for Martin more then once
There was never going to be a free lunch
Lost my hero's gunned down in blazes
Lost my brain in woodstock hazes

Did we accomplish at the end of the day
The Doors and drugs blew minds away.
Lost our focus and our causes
People had to die to add some clauses

40 years later were still killing children
Our young men die trying to defend
A country that has seemed to lose it's goals
Democracy works slowly don't lose your soul

Thanks Joni for your continued hope. Peace that's what we all want. A chance at a reasonable life and the right to fulfill our respective destiny. For some that's as simple as dwelling and some food for their kids. A cure for Aids and other dreaded deseases and dare I say world wide birth control so we can save the planet and it's plentiful food supply and somewhat delicate infrastructure. 7 billion and counting that one will be hard!

I have heard my dear master Osho when he says that man does not learn one single thing from history.
I see mistakes and mistakes all the time being repeated

Joni!; I don't wnat to replaced or remembered. I wnat to get shit done.. Lets do it together!! Scream as MOMa does , I know you do but in my every day I ask what more can I do?

Write a letter or a blog. Write a congressman or senator. Give time that I don't have and do it anyway. Give more money! We need an Army of the committed that is so big in number that no one who wnats to get elected can not look to us. How do we do that?
