This is a photograph of the black granit Vietnam war memorial in Washington DC that's my father Lt. Col. Wayne Elkin (ret) and me Wayne Elkin Jr. I'm glad I'm not reading my father's name and he's glad he's not reading mine.
Michael thanks for doing what you do for peace. I've been doing what I do for peace but in different ways. The pictures of the not one more death march reminds me of my youth protesting the Vietnam war. That was most challenging because my father was stationed in Vietnam. My mother and I partipated in an anti war fund raiser called dollars for doves. We of course were most concerned for dad. We are about to celebrate my father's 85th birthday. No one should be in as many wars as he was.
