Recently I joined the dispute resolution staff of the US Air Force. It is part of the General Counsel's office. My title is: Chief of Dispute Resolution Capabilities Development for the US Air Force. While I do a great deal of workplace dispute resolution training, I also want to expand the capacity within the Air Force (and military, in general) toward understanding the power of peaceful initiative and ADR skill sets to heal the wounds of war, including traumatic brain injury, post traumatic stress, and more. The advances in Neuroscience are supportive as they confirm the incredible power of reconcilliation, peace, forgiveness - and that the brain CAN heal, under the correct circumstances.

I have worked for three years at the World Bank as the manager for workplace disputes. For close to 20 years I have had jobs that incorporated aspects of dispute resolution. I believe that every day we can undertake an action - no matter how small that can change the world.
