Manish ma Phil? Thank you for adding me as one of your iPeace friends. Yes, oh this tragic ongoing situation for the Palestinian people. I feel for them as I felt after reading the book ‘Adam, Sun of a Dog’ of Yoram Kaniuk about the situation in a mental hospital inhabited by traumatized concentration camp survivors. Yoram wrote that there’s no solution to the problem, I hope that he’s mistaken but until now we have to admit that he was right. At the day that Sadat and Begin met to sign the peace treaty i was in Sham al Sheik. Early in the morning the army woke us and ordered us for reasons of security out of the village. I was too late to catch a bus and had to walk with my sleeping bag and guitar to Dahab. I remember my sadness vividly after learning that Yitschak Rabin was shot. And i believe that his assassin is not the only one to blame. Kind regards, Willem
