More about me
We are an ecumenic retreat center, where we open a space to allow different religions to share the same space in tolerance and simpathy. We work with schools making outdoor camp programs with the aim of armonizing relationships within the school and teaching the kids how to make better friends for a better world. We have Nicholas Roerich Peace Flag, and a peace tree with a buried peace vase filled with prayers for peace, where all the groups gather around to pray for world peace. We make the same programs with families and adults.

Thank you very much for inviting me! It seems, you have created a wonderful space for educating children and - even more important - grown ups. Education is sooo important for our world... Until the birth of Kara Joanna, now 6years old, I worked as a primary school teacher in Cologne. Here, half of the 150 primary schools are Catholic (but open for children belonging to any or no religion), one is protestant and the rest without confession. I was sent to a Catholic school, because I also had studied (Catholic) religious education. Here in Germany, religious education is a normal subject like sports and arts. But officially, for this subject, children are divided up into groups with their religion, or - if they don't belong to any and the parents don't want them to take part - they don't get this subject.
On a Catholic primary school, there is only Catholic Religious education. But I managed with the Director of the school and with the parents of the pupils of my 1st class, that I make a SPIRITUAL EDUCATION with all children together. One third of the childrens parents belonged to the Islam, and they also allowed their children to take part in this. : )
About two years ago, Kardinal Meissner, the Catholic and very conservativ arch bishop of Cologne, prohibited spiritual events with pupils of different religions. His reason might be fear...
So I admire, what you are doing there in Mexico and would really like to stay in a lively contact with you.
I wonder, how you did find me among those thousands of people HERE...
Warm greetings from wintercold Cologne, Sabine

Here is my open hand
please take my only gift,
I have nothing to give
but my loyalty and love.
I am poor and simple
I have no gold to give
but here is my heart
within this open hand.
Clasp my hand please
and share friendship now,
we will be so much stronger
helping each other together.
