When it comes to peace, how would you describe yourself?
I feel the pain in the world
What do you believe are the 'burning issues' today?
War, Education, Human Rights
What must we overcome to achieve peace?
Prejudice
More
Convicts on a chain gang
With a DREAM in their heart
But ashamed of their dream
Revolted by their condition
Sure of the vanity of their revolt
Dissatisfied with themselves
Or with their learning towards happiness
Towards that which is not struggle and privation
….
Confiding sometimes more in suffering
Elating and reassuring them of their strength
Often fearful of a bit of satisfaction
Of all that does not prepare them for the following day
Harder yet to bear of overbearance slightly less adapted
….
Caring for one another
Holding back their chimera and the anguish
Of their unsatisfied lifetime of hardtack and chains in store
Abandonned by puerile FAITH and hope of FREEDOM
Sure of their condemnation
….
Are those who eaken and lose their footing
Or do not fearthrowing themselves blindly
Into another destiny betting their fate
On a sole roll of the dice
Casting the burden of their anxiety
Into the arms of chance - the game of fate
….
For lack of equality or capability
They would like to be equal
To find in peace and harmonie
But the walls and the guards
The food and insomnia
The racial differences
Make of these men beings that ressemble
Motherless children
Who have not so much the right
To take or show a sign that is not mistrustful
Or likely to attain the vigor of their struggle
Or their intimate desire
To find hope in life
(The Princes)
VICTOR KHAGAN
Can we change the world?
Definitely
More about me
I was born in 1950 in the country of "Borinage" where Vincent Van Gogh has been living for a while before going to his destiny (in France). I had to struggle against vampirism and child abuse in the years 60-70 and I helped myself from confusing writing novels and poems.
