Though there are torturers/ There are also musicians

Though there are torturers in this world

There are also musicians

from a poem by Michael Coady

A city that the sun has staked to the ground and dared to survive. A city that hums with the silent impact of thousands of rolling miles of sand waves washing round it.

A poet is woken in a woman’s bed, woken by the sound of her husband crashing his huge body against the door and roaring. The poet leaps from the window and goes flying across rooftops,… Continue

"Stop the war! War is bad! War is immoral! we seek justice! we want peace!"

well then, what's the problem? why does it never stop???

WAR

war is an outbreak of violence as result of subjective assessment of threats. this is true regardless of the type of conflict.

in nature we can see patterns of conflicts of the following types: predator vs. prey which is all about food. or predator vs.… Continue

Sse makes life a sip sip, step apaso and every day is enjoying God, walking across and along, looking through their colors through hearing sounds, noticing their perfection and deepening its light. .

Life is working its planting, seeding and tending to his word, as a gardener of flowers as narrators of their prodigies ... HAAC as the command ..

I don't know who to talk to about this - I opened up my Third Eye ...

Reality will never be the same again. I experienced things I can't describe but can only attempt to describe through, perhaps art. I went through this for about 5 days straight not getting hardly any sleep at all. I'm not what was real and what wasn't' real. I'd be surprised if anybody has been through this to. Or if anybody believes me.

Hidden Blessings

Hidden Blessings

Spring is my favorite time of the four seasons, with wildflowers by the millions,

and butterflies kissing each one in turn...Painting a picture of Nature in it's finest hour...

This has been my peaceful place to go,when I need to relax...Under my tree...

Under my little Willow tree, feeling at one with Mother Earth, feeling my center,my "Chi"

I had traveled far and wide to become the man I am… Continue

WHEN MUSIC WAS KING

I remember when music was King and the recording artist was well received. Now a day’s gossip and propaganda sells quicker than a record, while the artist begs the music lover to listen to their songs.

I urge every artist to raise the level of their artistry to once again gain the confidence of the music lover who should consider broadening their vision and music choices as well.

Lastly, I listen to oldies because music from that era was authentic and meaningful, maybe we… Continue

“Left alone the young men will burn down the village……just to feel the heat.” - Old African proverb

“Left alone the young men will burn down the village……just to feel the heat.” - Old African proverb

Young men out of control, youth gang brutality, asbos, stabbings, binge drinking, educational failure, full prisons, suicides feature heavily in the everyday news. Reports of young men committing savage atrocities are increasing and ever more sickening by degree and their very presence regarded as the biggest threat to community safety. Crime and fear of crime is the most pressing problem… Continue

Heaven on Earth

I have a vision of creating heaven on earth. This vision comes from the realization of our true nature as consciousness or awareness itself. Words that exist in a dualistic world can, at best only point towards the truth that lies beyond them. When the truth is realized, the words ( form ) become less important and the message and meaning ( content ) shine through.

If you feel drawn to the content within the messages that are coming forth through so many of today’s teachers such as…Echart… Continue

Reflections on the Inauguration

The inauguration of President Obama occurred just a few short days ago, but already, some of the memories of that momentous event seem to be fading. What I do recall in particular, are the countless smiles which lit up the faces of the two million people in attendance, and the countless tears which rolled down their faces. For many, the election to the presidency of an African American was the fulfillment of a life-long dream that they thought would never come. The day marked not just an… Continue

How to Help Tibetan Children

Step1 Sponsor a child in exile. There are many organizations set up to sponsor Tibetan children living in exile. This sponsorship usually focuses on the education of the children and the preservation of the Tibetan culture in their education.

Step2 Make a monetary donation. You can make a general donation or earmark it for a certain cause, such as school improvement, specific… Continue

Jan. 26 - Lunar New Year of the Earth Ox

Year of the Ox Prediction Jan. 26, 2009 - Feb. 13, 2010

by Stephanie Dempsey

The Year of the Earth Ox evokes stability and dependability. The Ox is a practical work animal, while the Earth element is steady and firm. Together, they create a kind of plodding energy that can be exasperating. Still, progress will be made in 2009; it will occur in slow, barely perceptible increments. If you stay patient and keep your… Continue
