Sailing Friend-Ship

"Do not sail in two boats", goes the saying.

But for sailing along the voyage of Life, life-long

We need as many as possible, ships of deep keel.

And all of you who have extended space in your hearts, I feel

Are indeed ships, Friend-Ships together to sail.

For years to go till we reach the Land of Immortality!

Friendship Is Like A Flower

by Regina

Friendship is like a flower,

Glowing in its glory,

Each and every seed,

Telling its own story.

So I picked this flower,

And pulled it apart,

And soon all its pieces,

Grew into my heart.

But… Continue

Sailin' along----------

Sailin' along on the rivers of life,

with my mates from the future,

it,s excellent conditions, for a deeper view,

and the horizon, slightly tilts,

as we pass through a timegate-------

Have a glimpse, of the brightness,

get local, and scratch you symbol,

in the air, let your mind, do the walking,

as we shift fom planetary conclusions,

to visionary solutions-------

So many masters, that call out their glory,

they promise you more… Continue

Considering the roots of war

On this Christmas Day I find myself thinking about the roots of war. An odd turn of mind, which I'm afraid only my friends on iPeace would understand. I’ve recently discovered the films of Victoria Foyt, a lovely actress who is also an accomplished writer. She has co-written several of the scripts for her movies, and in 2007 published her first novel, The Virtual Life of Alexie Diamond.

I am copying a couple of paragraphs from a 2003 essay written by Victoria Foyt, titled ‘A… Continue

Healing Wisdom 25 December - Merry Christmas!

"Once you chose hope, everything is possible."

~ Christopher Reeve

"If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today, I still have a dream."

~ Martin Luther King, Jr.

Hope is both part of our Humanity and our Divinity. Hope is not something that we learn, but something that is born…

what is Christmas about? it seems to me nowadays.........................

At Christmas time amid mistletoe and wine Christs birthday comes and goes.
Why do we forget the gift he gave us, of love and peace, or we often reject.
O' why do we reject his gift leaving him suffering upon the cross.
Let LOVE be our token and LOVE be our aim
and express LOVE for each other, making Peace our way.

Stillness

If we come from an accelerating world decelerating into the outer and inner stillness,

firstly we find ourselves in the stillness of our thoughts.

Giving consciousness room and opportunity to spread from a mind-centered focus to the whole body,

to feel again our physical body, the neutral sensation of perceiving and the love from our heart connecting everything.

Such a stillness equals the drop of water, that we are,

in a steadied ocean of the universe, that… Continue

IMAGINE A WORLD

Imagine a World where each and every one of was committed to discovering who we are truly here to be, committed to unwrapping our gifts, to living from our deepest being. Imagine a world where we support each other in that quest. Imagine a world where we see in each other our potential to become – Buddha to be, Gandhi to be, Einstein to be. Imagine a world where we greet each other with compassion and an open heart – Dalai Lama to be, Amma to be, Mother Theresa to be. Imagine a world where we… Continue

Joy to the World

And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow,

Stood puzzling and puzzling: 'How could it be so?'

It came without ribbons! It came without tags!

It came without packages, boxes or bags!

And he puzzled three hours, 'till his puzzler was sore.

Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before!

Maybe Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store.

Maybe… Continue

What in your mind is the biggest obstacle for peace?

The title question is one that is asked when creating a membership in the iPeace group. I chose Prejudice as my answer to this question. The reason for this is that many conflicts are the result of religious or political beliefs. The cure for prejudice is EDUCATION. Through education, people can be taught to respect all religions and beliefs. Respect does not mean that the person has to adopt that religion or belief. I feel that this group is in the position to educate, especially during this… Continue
