Love Conquers Every Soul- The Peace Blog

One day, I would like to have a conversation with a war supporter and tell him that his hope is lost. In the end, love conquers every soul.

What I would tell the supporter is that I am neither a politician or a professor. I am not a general or a CEO. I am a young person who believes that there are better ways at solving disputes other than pulling a gun on someone else's loved ones.

I would not try to convince them in my direction in the least. In fact, I would try to say as little as possible because I know that violence only pits brother against brother, and ethnic group against ethnic group.

I do not believe that a gun has more power than my hands. With my hands I can type, and with the words that flow from my head, ideas begin to formulate themselves. When ideas formulate themselves, other people begin to take notice, and they begin to type out their ideas.

What I would like to say to President Bush is that his war is lost and will never, for as long as I live, believe that in any way, shape, or form did the Iraq War help to stabilize our economy. In fact, it pretty much slumped it.

I would say to John McCain, who so stubbornly follows up on Bush's policies, that if he were to stay in Iraq for the next 100 years, China will emerge as the number 1 superpower during that time, and I do not want to be in the United States when that happens, because it would be a nuclear war.

Therefore, why continue to make war on other people? Peace is the solution.

Again, I reiterate, for as long as I live: Anything war can do, peace can do better. Love is the lion which conquers the soul of the jungle.
